DRACULA RETURNS TO DERBY

On Saturday 26th October we enjoyed a very special halloween treat to celebrate the 'Dracula Returns to Derby' project, an AHRC-funded research project led by the University of Derby in partnership with Derby Museums, Derby Theatre, Bournemouth University and Sheffield Hallam University. TMV Pop-up chef Linda Legend designed a mouth watering vegan menu which was served by our goth adorned volunteer Katherine (complete with extreme eyelashes!). Later the space was taken over by terrifying small humans performing brain surgery on pumpkins, wildly carving and pulling out innards, then rejoicing at the grimacing faces of their creations! Just days later, the spooky Creatures of the Night - Halloween on Saddler Gate event happened on All Hallows Eve, which brought Dracula himself to TMV.
This event was part of a series of public workshops and events to connect the city with the world’s most famous vampire. Follow on Facebook and Instagram.
